Nick Gallo's take on the 2020 FAI World Championship in Tanay Russia
Nick is one of GLH Systems' athletes and he just competed in the World championship.
The world championship that took place in Tanay, Russia, was a complicated and intense experience. We got lucky to do 8 out of the 9 jumps a competition in canopy piloting requires.
Tricky conditions, changing disciplines several times a day and confusing weather calls made it a mentally challenging competition.
All and all the best canopy pilots were there and performed as best as they could, and they did.
For my part, being relatively new on the international scene, the challenges were a lot to take on, and I didn’t perform as well as I thought.
All the focus is now on Eloy for next year championship.
